TaraLee Houston
I am an interdisciplinary artist and my creative process is centred around connections. Collaborating and making connections with myself, others and the environment. I was born and raised in Regina, Saskatchewan and currently live and work as a full time artist on Vancouver Island, British Columbia.
I have dedicated myself to serving the community as a volunteer and an employee for over 20 years working with children and families. I hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from Emily Carr University of Art + Design, a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology and Certificate in Early Childhood Education and Community Leadership.

As an artist, I believe my concepts and connections create a dialogue about each other and our environment. My art practice feels complete when it is fully integrated in my life and especially when I am merging art and community in dialogue and connecting.
